1. The service
ReClaim is an online marketplace that connects sellers of reclaimed and surplus building materials with buyers. We provide the platform, listing tools, messaging, and payment processing. We are not a party to the underlying sale.
2. Accounts
You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
3. Listings and conduct
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the legality of the materials sold, and pickup/delivery arrangements. Prohibited items include hazardous waste, stolen goods, asbestos-containing materials without proper disclosure, and anything restricted by law.
4. Fees and payments
Free listings are limited by tier. Paid subscriptions unlock more listings and features. Transactions on the marketplace are processed by Stripe. Applicable platform fees are shown at checkout.
5. Verified Supply Hubs
Hub verification indicates that ReClaim has reviewed a business application. It is not a warranty of the goods, services, or business practices of that hub.
6. Disputes between users
Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving disputes about a specific transaction. ReClaim may, at its discretion, help mediate but is not obligated to.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other users, or misuse the platform.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReClaim is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
